where I burried my silence
April 11, 2008
whereas the silence has been decieving
and then the cannon came right in
peace’s crawling and bleeding…
do you still wonder about the world, my friend?
no tomorrows for us, not until the end
hear the bombs singing and constantly raging
a bull’s-eyes target, to our bodies where you’re aiming
burn our greeniest farms and our everything
see the bullets sleeping on our pains
conquer our lands to feed your hands
burry us and the freedom beneath the coiled winds
sure we’ll hang up our white flags
if it assures you, my neighboor =]
and we’ll surrender to your trait
after all it’s a waste to wait
watch us, the people you’re taking
and the people you’re killing
with no difference between you, then we were just unlucky
to be born not in your country
this is where peace starts crawling
prosperity ran crying
and poverty starts taking in
if you look closer we’re your friends
we just didn’t have the time to send you our greetings and smiles
because our smiles had died with the cannons your dropping to us
and our greetings faded when you shot us with your bows
maybe someday we’ll see each other
with satisfaction in your wars
and sanctuary covering our stars
and silence is no longer decieving….
